The Punch Way to Gameday

Back To Blog Next Blog Post

Sure, I’m good at most things. There are two things, however, that I’m great at: 1. Making a killer cigar 2. Hosting an epic gameday. Lucky for you, I’m a generous wooden figure, so I’m going to let you in on my secrets to the ultimate gameday.

1. Wake Up Right: Gameday starts early at the Punch house. So hop out of bed, grab that shower beer and reward your early start with a Punch Gran Puro.

2. Gather The Essentials: Listen up, now this is important. There are three things you need to have ready for a successful gameday:
        1. Cheesy/greasy/bottomless appetizers. Seriously, the cheesier the better.
        2. More beer than you think you need- nothing is worse than a third-quarter beer run.
        3. A celebratory Punch Deluxe ready for when the team pulls together for a win.

3. Get Your Smack Talk Ready: When the crew arrives, there’s bound to be one (wrong) friend sporting the other team’s jersey. This man deserves some smack talk. Need inspiration? Go to my trash talk generator, I’ve got some classic zingers all set-up for you.

*NOTE: This trash-talk isn’t just reserved for other fans. It works great on referees/the opposing team/your team, basically anyone who does the opposite of what you tell them.

4. Start your Own Chant: By quarter three, it’s time to start your own chant. Hopefully your friends will have had enough beers that they join in.
My personal favorite: P-U-N-C-H! Punch! Punch! Punch!

5. Time for a Victory Dance: Get the Punch Deluxe out, because if you’re like me, you’ve been rooting for the winning team. Whether you’re JuJu-ing on that beat, or pulling out the dougie, it’s time for a victory dance.

And that’s it folks. The secret recipe to a Punch-worthy gameday. Now move aside, it’s my turn for a keg-stand.

My perfect game day is RACE day..... Pack the cooler with Michelob, bring the grill an charcoal, buy the biggest Pork Loin and Dales sauce. Don't forget the tin-foiled wrapped sweet potatoes, with real salt butter an cinnamon.Park on the infield. Hey the grill fired sit back with my beer start watching the race, Do Not Forget about the grill..... wa it for a long caution or red flag to eat. Finish it all off with a Punch original, bring extras cause there's always one that forgets theirs in the truck. Enjoy the flavor and the race!!
